This two hour class focuses on the fundamental concepts and techniques that are necessary to understand as you move foward in your personal harmonica journey.  We will work on getting clear single notes with a clean tone as well as the different ways that you can affect the tone and sound of the notes that you play.  You will learn about the layout of the ten holes and how to use all of them. We will also cover “keys and positions” so you will understand how to communicate and play along with other musicans.

This class is not about learning a particular style of music or any songs.  It is about helping you establish an intimate relationship with your instrument.  I want to help you make the connection of breath, heartbeat and soul solid before you start learning songs and jamming to the styles of music that you prefer.  It is never too early to develop your own sound!  With this strong foundation your harmonica journey will be much smoother as you continue… no matter what the path.
